Sunday - 9:00 - 9:45 AM

Susan Hollingsworth, Wet Planet Instructor and Femme 45 Paddler;

Heather Herbeck, Wet Planet Instructor and River Angel

Description: Shake off Saturday night with this awakening some union suit yoga before you hit the river on Sunday.  Grab your thick skins, bunny suit or long johns and join Wet Planet Instructor and Femme 45 paddler, Susan Hollingsworth, for this 45 minute yoga class to help get your blood moving and the laughter rolling.

You’ll twist, strengthen and stretch muscles specifically fatigued by kayakers and rafters, helping you to maintain a healthy body for years of river enjoyment.    And because we all want good lines, we will learn how to tune our mind into the present moment and reduce anxiety in stressful situations…like at the lip of that waterfall you’ve been dreaming about.

No matter how you descend the river, this class will help you learn techniques to relieve pain and target key areas to increase your body’s athletic potential on the river.  Most of all, it will be a great way to start your river day off with some smiles.

Level: No prior yoga experience is necessary.  Just wear comfortable clothing (you are encouraged to wear your brightest base layers possible) and bring a sleeping mat or towel to sit on in case of rain.
