Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival - Pro Guides Slalom
Sunday - 12:30
Pro-Guides, need we say anymore? These are the guys who make their living pushing paddle boats loaded with novices down the Pacific Northwest whitewater rivers.
The US Bank Pro-Guides Slalom Race is a R-3 event. That means that there are 3 guides in each boat, one in the rear acting as captain and 2 in the front paddling for all they are worth! This race pits guides against guides and wraps up a busy weekend for them. In addition to being in the race event these folks are a HUGE help in acting as, well.. Pro Guides, helping the High School and Armed Forces race teams safely run the course.
