10:00 to 1:00 Un-pinning your boat and Rope Systems, Strainers & Entrapments – Instructor: Keith Gillespie
Come learn the basics of mechanical advantages, and importance of proper protective equipment during rescue situations in this informative session. This class will serve as a review for some, and a great forum for discussion. New paddlers welcome.
2:00 Emergency Raft Repair – Instructors: Ashley LeGall & Shawn Raquel
Goodwater Boatworks will be putting on a one hour clinic on how to do an emergency field repair. They will cover the different types of materials and tools you should carry in your field repair kit, depending on the type of boat you have. They will cover strategies for getting your boat to hold air until you get to the take out and we will also share the importance of best practices for storing and maintaining your repair kit when off the water.
