Sahalie McCabe

Sahalie has been a WMI instructor since 2004. Growing up in an active family, She learned to ski, raft, hike and climb at an early age. Her adult life has followed suit-She's been a professional raft guide for 7 years, led backcountry trips for youth and adults, worked on ski patrol, and plans to graduate from paramedic school at the end of 2009. She also works as an apparel buyer for a local ski shop (She has to find some way to afford all her toys!) She married her best friend of 9 years in 2007, and currently has expanded her family to include 3 nieces, age 8, 10 and 13. She's looking forward to sharing her love of medicine and the out-doors with them. .

The Wilderness Medicine Institute's goal is to provide the highest quality education and information for the recognition, treatment, and prevention of wilderness emergencies.
